In 2007, she brought herself worldwide attention for making racist remarks on the Bollywood celebrity Shilpa Shetty.??????She was criticized for her act but then she visited India and she was welcomed warmly by Shilpa Shetty and the Indian kids. All the bitterness disappeared. In an epic act of humanity, Shilpa Shetty rushed to meet Jade Goody when the news that she only has few hours left.?
But now, Jade is fighting the last battle of her life from Cancer. Her mother Jackiey Budden said,??It?s not day by day now. It?s more like hour by hour.?
Jade Goody’s eyesight is deteriorating so quickly that she is terrified that she may never see her sons – Bobby (age 5) and Freddy (age 4) again.
She even had some conversation with her kids and told them that she is going to heaven soon.
She said -??”I’m going to be a star up in the sky so when you are looking up you will be able to see me and know I’m there, always looking over you. Mummy’s going to be up there looking over you. Close your eyes and you can talk to me.“
Father Francis, the priest who overcame Cancer was chosen by Jade to relieve her from her pain. He comforted Jade for almost 2 hours.
The 27-year old star wants her funeral to be the biggest celebration because it is her final farewell. It is expected that thousands of fans will line the streets of Bermondsey ?and then to St John the Baptist in Buckhurst Hill where she will be buried.
Jade wants the world to remember her as a brave woman. ?
