President Obama changed the way technology is being used right from his presidential campaign to his tenure in the White House. Obama made extensive use of technology to reach out people through Twitter and other social media outlets.

And now, President Obama is trying to revolutionize the way the collected data by the US Government is accessed by the public through his new venture – Data.gov

A few days ago Obama sought financial advise from technology leaders like Twitter CEO Evan Williams. So Data.gov may have been the outcome of that meeting? Maybe.

The Data.gov project will be lead by Vivek Kundra. Vivek says that he plans to revolutionize technology in public sector. The project will support and make use of open-source formats. Data will be available in more independant form like XML for better and wide-scale manipulation of these data sets.

Having created quite a stir in the news, the Star magazine reports that Chris Brown and Rihanna have secretly married.

The magazine states that -

The story tells that Rihanna and Chris Brown met at Diddy’s mansion in Miami where Chris apologised, begged and proposed Rihanna to get married with him.

?Microsoft has been the clear winner in the desktop software battle but it remains unfortunate to win the search engine battle since the start of MSN, Microsoft’s flagship search engine. Google and Yahoo! enjoy the lion’s share in search while globally MSN doesn’t even have a 3% share.

First it was MSN search then Microsoft repackaged it into Live Search which it called the next generation search. But the brand confusion never propelled it to the stardom that Microsoft had hoped. But MSFT knows that search is a lucrative business and one which is too hard to miss!

So to once again try its luck in search Microsoft has released Kumo for its employees to test and provide feedback. ?Currently Kumo is not available outside of Microsoft’s internal network. Currently all the info we have is from the leaked memo from Kumo’s technical leader Satya Nadella.

Mickey Goodwin was found dead in his home. The 50 year old professional boxer was born in 1958 and grew up in Melvindale, Michigan.

He was a professional boxer and was trained at the legendary Kronk Gym in Detroit. Mickey Goodwin entered professional boxing in 1977.?

Surprisingly he never won a championship belt and so he became a boxing trainer.

Police officials are investigating the cause of death and are unsure id he was beaten to death or hit by a vehicle. He shared the home with his mother.

The viewers of the hit reality show The Bachelor were stunned when Jason Mesnick dumped the woman whom he had proposed to on the finale of the show on Monday night.

During the reunion that followed the finale Jason sang praises of Melissa, the forme Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

He said that Melissa was sweet and beautiful but his heart really belonged to the department store buyer and runner-up?Molly Malaney.

Melissa was quite disappointed with Jason while she returned the ring to him. She told that facing this was a ton of heartbreak for her and she broke down while getting into Limo.

Today is the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American writer and cartoonist who wrote several children’s books under the pseudo name Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Seuss’s works have been adapted into television specials, films and even a Broadway musical!

Some of his best books include The Cat in the Hat and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. I personally like The Cat in the Hat! It is definitely worth a read.
